If a set is not right, you have 14 days to send it back. This page sets out exactly how, who pays for what, and when you get your money — including the one case where the return costs you nothing.
1. Your 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The period starts the day you — or someone you nominated — take physical possession of the goods. Where an order arrives in several parcels, it starts the day the last one arrives.
To meet the deadline it is enough that you send your withdrawal notice before the 14 days are up. You do not have to have posted the wheels back by then.
2. How to tell us
Email info@hokuracing.com with your order number and say that you are withdrawing. Any clear statement is valid — you may use the form in section 7, but you do not have to.
Contact us before you ship anything back. We confirm the return address and, where it applies, arrange the collection. Parcels sent back without notice can sit unidentified at a depot, which delays your refund and nothing else.
3. Condition of the returned wheels
Wheels must come back unmounted and in their original packaging, with any hub rings, bolts and accessories that came with them.
This is not a formality. Once a tyre has been mounted on a wheel the wheel cannot be resold, and once the wheel has been bolted to a hub it usually carries marks. You are allowed to inspect and test-fit a wheel the way you could in a shop — offering it up to the hub to check clearance is fine. Fitting the tyre, torquing the wheel down and driving on it is not, and we may reduce the refund by the loss in value.
Tuning parts must be unused and unfitted, in sealed original packaging where they were supplied sealed.
4. Who pays the return shipping
| Situation | Who pays |
|---|---|
| We sent the wrong item, or a set we confirmed as compatible with the vehicle you told us about does not fit | We do — we arrange and pay for the collection |
| The goods arrived damaged or defective | We do |
| You changed your mind, ordered the wrong size, or the wheels do not clear a modification you did not tell us about | You do |
Return shipping for a set of four wheels is not cheap, which is the honest reason we would rather answer a fitment question before you order than process a return afterwards. Ask us first.
5. Your refund
We refund within 14 days of receiving the wheels back, or of you proving you sent them, whichever is earlier. The refund goes to the same payment method you used — card refunds to the card, PayPal to PayPal, Klarna via Klarna. We do not charge a fee for this.
The refund includes the original outbound delivery charge you paid. Where you chose a more expensive delivery method than our standard one, we refund the standard cost. Where the return is your choice rather than our error, we do not refund your cost of sending the goods back.
6. Where the right does not apply
- Business purchases. The statutory right of withdrawal is a consumer right. If you bought with a company VAT number, it does not apply — though we will still discuss a return with you.
- Wheels made or finished to your specification, such as a custom colour or a bespoke offset ordered specifically for you.
- Goods that have been mounted, driven on, refinished, drilled or otherwise altered.
Faulty goods are a separate matter entirely: your two-year statutory right for goods that do not conform to the contract is unaffected by any of the above. See section 8 of the Terms of Sale.
7. Model withdrawal form
You may copy this, fill it in and email it to us. Using it is optional.
To: Hoku Racing MB, Kaunas, Lithuania — info@hokuracing.com
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale of the following goods:
_______________________________________________
Ordered on: ____________ Received on: ____________
Order number: ____________
Name of consumer: _______________________________
Address of consumer: ____________________________
Date: ____________
Signature (only if sent on paper): ______________
8. Transit damage
Check the packaging before you sign for the parcel. If a box is crushed or torn, note it on the carrier's document and photograph it before opening. Tell us within 7 days. That record is what lets us claim against the carrier — without it the carrier normally refuses, and the loss sits somewhere it need not.
9. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handled a return, write to info@hokuracing.com. If we cannot settle it, consumers may take the matter to the Lithuanian State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (vvtat.lt).
