This site sets two cookies. Both are strictly necessary for the shop to work, so there is no consent banner to click through — under the ePrivacy rules, consent is required for tracking and advertising cookies, and we do not use any.
1. What we set

Both are first-party cookies — set by hokuracing.com, readable only by hokuracing.com, and marked Secure, HttpOnly where applicable and SameSite=Lax.
2. What we do not use
We think it is worth being specific, because most shops your size do use these:
- No Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or any other analytics.
- No Meta / Facebook pixel, no TikTok pixel, no advertising or retargeting tags.
- No heatmaps or session recording.
- No cross-site tracking cookies of any kind.
If that changes, this page changes with it and a consent banner will appear before any such cookie is set — because at that point consent becomes legally required.
3. Third parties your browser does contact
Cookies are not the whole picture, so for completeness:
- Google Fonts — our pages load typefaces from
fonts.googleapis.comandfonts.gstatic.com. No cookie is set, but your browser makes a request to Google and Google therefore sees your IP address. A content blocker prevents this and the site stays fully usable, only with fallback typefaces. - Payment providers — when you proceed to pay, you are taken to Stripe, Klarna or PayPal. Those pages are theirs and their own cookie notices apply there. They never load inside our pages before you choose to pay.
- Social links in our footer are plain links. Nothing is loaded from Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or YouTube unless you click through.
4. Controlling cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Be aware that blocking the two cookies above will break the cart and sign-in — not as a penalty, but because they are the mechanism that remembers what you added.
If you cleared cookies while a page was already open, reload the page before submitting a form. Otherwise the page holds a security token that no longer matches your new session, and the submission is rejected as expired.
