The PCD is the diameter of the circle formed by the centre of your wheel bolts. It's one of the most critical measurements — get it wrong and the wheels simply won't fit. Common PCDs include 5x112 (Volkswagen/Mercedes), 5x120 (BMW), and 5x114.3 (many Japanese and Korean cars).
2. Choose the Right Diameter
Wheel diameter is measured in inches. While larger wheels (18–20") look great and improve handling, they require lower-profile tyres which can reduce ride comfort. Most street cars strike the perfect balance at 17–18 inches.
3. Consider the Width and Offset
Wheel width affects how much tyre you can run, and offset (ET) determines how far the wheel sits inside or outside the arch. A lower offset pushes the wheel outward — great for a wide stance, but it can cause rubbing if too aggressive. Always check your car's recommended offset range before purchasing.

Cast wheels are manufactured by pouring molten aluminium into a mould — affordable and widely available. Forged wheels are machined from a single billet of aluminium, resulting in a much stronger and lighter product. For performance driving, forged is always the premium choice.
